Nellie Marie Schanfish, 82, of Moline, passed away, Friday, January 11, 2019, at her home

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Calvary Church, Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.  Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to Calvary Church, Moline or Susan G. Komen Quad Cities.

Nellie was born on November 8, 1936, in Texarkana, the daughter of Clarence and Pearl (Wilson) Burns.  She married Carroll L. Schanfish on February 13, 1954, in Texarkana.  She was a member of Calvary Church, and attended Season Saints monthly.  She like to read, do puzzles, work in her garden, and watch the hummingbirds and the deer.

Survivors include her husband, Carroll; children, Carol L. Hann, James R. (Leinese), Rock Island, Larry W., Galesburg, Ronnie L. (Wendy), Moline, Chuck D. (Judi), Texas, Kevin R. (Serena), East Moline; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, June, brother, Raymond, and sister-in-law, Nelwyn.
