Norma Jean Bowman, 71, of Moline, IL, surrounded by the love of her family, friends, and staff of the Bettendorf Health Center went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, March 15, 2011.
Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, 4700 53rd Street, Moline, IL 61265. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
Norma was born on December 31, 1939 in Fort Madison, IA, to Walter and Naomi Moore Graning. She graduated from Dallas City High School in 1959. She married Clayton Bowman on October 24, 1959 in Dallas City, Illinois.
Norma was a member of Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, and spent most of her life evangelizing and pastoring with her husband, while at the same time pouring God's love into her children. Norma fulfilled her purpose, and now receives her total and complete healing and rest, sitting at the feet of the Father. Those who had the blessing to know and love Norma, know that while she was on this earth, there was an angel among us.
