Norma E. Mosher, age 97, formerly of Orion, died Friday, February 19, 2010 at Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, IL.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301-4th Street, Orion. Burial is in Western Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Orion United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
Norma was born June 5, 1912 in Beardsley, MN, the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Oberholtzer) Sherman. She married Noel D. Mosher on July 4, 1931 in Knoxville, IL. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1990.
Norma taught at Cambridge grade school before moving to Orion where she taught for 25 years. She was a member of Orion United Methodist Church where she loved to sing in the choir. Norma enjoyed playing bridge and golf, and was very active in Delta Kappa Gamma.
