Norma J. Nash, 77, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center – Silvis Campus, Silvis, IL.
A memorial visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and burial of cremains will be at Andover Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
Norma was born on January 21, 1940, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Orin and Mary Elsie Eberts. She married Arthur B. Nash on May 23, 1959, at South Park Presbyterian Church in Rock Island, and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2004. She worked as an apartment manager for Mary Allen West Tower in Galesburg, IL.
Norma greatly enjoyed retail therapy, cooking, and playing cards and Bingo. More than anything, Norma loved to spend time with her family.
Survivors include her 3 sons, Dale (Samantha) Nash, Davenport, IA, Darin (Taka Weller) Nash, Colona, IL, David Nash, Galesburg, IL; grandchildren, Cassandra, Leah, Eric, Andrew, Mariann, and Shelbi; 1 great grandson, Landon; sister, Ruth Ede, Bettendorf, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Teresa.
