Norma D. Stromquist, age 82, of Orion, left to be with her Heavenly Father and her beloved husband on Friday, July 3, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2009 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, 1301 4th Street, Orion, IL. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Reverend David Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her family for a fund to be established in her name at a later date.
Norma was born November 7, 1926 in Carbon Cliff to John and Helen (Humphrey) Raisbeck. She married H. Lyle Stromquist on December 23, 1944 in Orion. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1995.
Norma was a member of the Orion United Methodist Church.
