Normajeanne Palmer, 68 of Coal Valley, died July 23, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2006 at First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Coal Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley.
Normajeanne was born April 23, 1938 in Newton, IA to Mr. and Mrs. Williams. She married John Palmer on September 24, 1967 in Coal Valley.
Normajeanne was very active within her church. She was involved in the church choir, ladies circle of the church, bible study class, food pantry and she helped served dinners at the church. She was a member of the American Legion Post #246 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and was always there to help others in need.
