Norman Rodney Wahlberg, 85 of Sherrard passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Aledo Nursing and Rehab in Aledo, Illinois.
A funeral service will be 1:00 on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Kirk, Huggins and Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Swedona Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Norman was born on November 6, 1931 in Sherrard, Illinois to Dale and Marinda E. Swanson Wahlberg. He was a farmer on the family farm from the time he was a young man.
