Opal "Jeanne" Arnold

Opal “Jeanne” Arnold, 91, of Moline, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church where Jeanne was a member.

Jeanne was born on May 6, 1932, in Williamsfield, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas and Julia (Eastman) Maner. She married Dale E. Arnold on September 10, 1947, in La Grange, Kentucky. He passed away on March 17, 2010, in Rock Island. She and her husband loved spending time in Texas where they enjoyed square dancing and shuffleboard.

Survivors include her children, Dale Arnold Jr., Moline, Jack (Janet) Arnold, Surprise, AZ, Joe (Debbie) Arnold, Moline, Betty (Richard) Christensen, Mayfield, KY, Barbara Roedel, Moline; grandchildren, Kevin Arnold, Chris Arnold, Julia (Dennis) Finch, Amy (Shawn) Edwards; and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; daughter-in-law, Connie Arnold; son-in-law, Bill Roedel; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
