Otto Clayton, 92, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Moline, IL, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Otto was born on November 24, 1924, in Bradleyville, MO, the son of William and Margaret Canfield Clayton. He married Irma L. Bacorn on November 22, 1947, in Ava, MO, and she preceded him in death on May 6, 2001. He worked as a supervisor for Eagle Signal in Davenport, IA.
Survivors include his daughter, Jan Turner-Theodore; grandchildren, Erica Maddox and Pam (Brian) Harrison; great grandchildren, Madison Maddox, Jacob Maddox, Noah Harrison, Abby Harrison, Emily Medinger, Ashlynn Harrison, and Alex Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, 4 sisters; 1 brother.
