Patricia Ann Catour was born on July 26 in the hot summer of 1936, to Wilbur and Ethel (Quillin) Catour. She graduated from Geneseo High School, class of 1954. Pat married Chester “Chuck” “Chet” Bahnks, Jr. on a snowy day, January 26, 1957.

Through the years she was employed at Garfield School and navigated all the mergers of Moline Public Hospital. Her final position was a member of the TORS team. The friendships she made with her co-workers were a special memory. She was a PTA life member, room mother, and scout den mother. She was an active member of Riverside United Methodist Church and its Ruth Circle. She enjoyed watching all sports, especially those in which her kids and grandkids participated. Holidays with her family, especially Christmas, were incredibly important to her. She loved all things in nature.

Pat is survived by her children: Lori Bahnks, Marta (Bob) Leonard, Kara Bahnks and Chester (Tara) Bahnks III. Also, her much loved grandchildren: Michael Leonard, Lindsey (Brandon) Ott, Ethan (Amanda) Johnston, Bryn Bahnks, CC “Trey” Bahnks IV, Evan (Tabitha) Cooper; and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Jim, and grandson, Rob Leonard.
