Patricia Ellyn Sexton

Patricia Ellyn Sexton, 77, of Moline, passed away, November 29, 2023, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd. Moline.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Patricia was born on November 3, 1946, in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Donna Callahan and Robert Hamlyn. She married Laurel Neuleib and later divorced. She later married Ronald Sexton on March 19, 1991, in Moline. Patricia loved to crochet blankets and she was part of Jimmy Swagger Ministries, Sunlife Broadcasting Network. She worked as a hairdresser and a nurse. Patricia loved to spend time with her family, especially with her kids, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald; daughters Jackie Prather, Kathy (Bill) Carter, LaDonna Neuleib, Sunnie (Jose) Sarmiento, and Lisa (Brian) Kinney; sons Howard Hamlyn and Ronnie (Kisha Hubbard) Sexton; sister Ronna Callahan Therrell, and Mary; brother Jim; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Anysia for all the care she did for her grandma.

She was preceded in death by her parents Donna and Robert, and brothers Bob, Ron, and Tom.
