Patricia "Pat" Thorndike

Patricia “Pat” Thorndike, 67, of Silvis, IL, died Monday, September 11, 2017, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will take place and inurnment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Pat was born on January 22, 1950, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Fred and Delores Hultgren Beyhl. She married Kenneth Batten on January 17, 1970. Later, she married Don “Pete” Thorndike on March 2, 1996, in East Moline, IL, and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2017. She worked as a computer analyst for Royal Neighbors of America in Rock Island, retiring in 2004.
Survivors include her children, Jeffrey Batten, Las Vegas, NV, and James Batten, Silvis, IL; step daughter, Angela (Owen) Hollis, Monmouth, IL; mother, Delores Hultgren, Davenport, IA; siblings, Lorraine Trammel, CA, Roger Beyhl, Iowa city, IA, Mary Drobushevich, Moline, IL, Randy (Bonnie) Beyhl, Davenport, IA, Mark (Alecia) Beyhl, Bettendorf, IA, Julia Flynn, Bettendorf, IA, Linda (Bob) Powell, FL, and Sara (Todd) Leach, Roscoe, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father, husband, and brother, David Beyhl.
