Paula Ruby Blanchard, 76, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Trinity Rock Island.
Graveside Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012, at Greenview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to her family.
Paula was born on March 30, 1936, in Deep River, IA, the daughter of Paul and Julia Olin. She married Carl L. Blanchard on September 9, 1959, in Des Moines, IA. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2002.
Paula worked as a Certified C.N.A. for Oak Glen for 23 years, retiring in 1992. She then went on to provide home health care. She was a member of AFSCME Local 2371 and N.F.B. (National Federation for The Blind).
Paula enjoyed reading, watching movies, doing ceramics, shopping, and going out to eat.
