Paula J. Carter

Paula J. Carter, 61, of Port Byron, died December 8, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11a.m., Friday, December 11, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family or Moline Childrens'Learning Center.
Paula was born August 31, 1948 in Watertown, WI to Fredrick and Helen (Misgades) Winkelman. She married Rolan Carter on November 5, 1988 in Hamilton, AL.
Paula was a beautician, certified nurse's assistant and daycare provider but for the past 21 years she was able to stay home and take care of her family. She enjoyed camping, playing bingo and was an avid Packer's fan.
