Peggy A. Hoffman, 69, of Moline, died Friday, August 5, 2016, at UnityPoint Trinity, Rock Island.

Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded.  A memorial gathering will be held at her home on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 1-4 p.m.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., is assisting the family.

Peggy was born November 9, 1946, in Chattanooga, TN, the daughter of Carl and Mary (Harris) Garrison.  She married Alan J. Hoffman in 1990 in Moline.  She had previously been employed in the human resources department at JTM Concepts.

Peggy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline.  She enjoyed her time traveling, cooking and baking. She volunteered at the former Franciscan Hospital, American Cancer Society, Easter Seals, the Salvation Army and Mr. Thanksgiving Community Dinner at SouthPark Mall.  Peggy liked walking her dogs, which she loved, Viki, Riki and Skylar. She also enjoyed watching her two favorite shows, NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles.
