Phoebe R. Allison

Phoebe R. Allison, 89, of Moline, passed away at UnityPoint Health Trinity in Rock Island on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  There will be a private graveside service for the immediate family.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN  38105).

Phoebe was born on November 10, 1929, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Charles William and Anne Rose (Carson) Stickel.  She married Harold D. Allison on July 5, 1947.  He precedes her in death on June 18, 1998.

Phoebe was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline.  She loved to go to the casino, the holidays and spending time with her family.  She was a loving mother, grandma, great & great-great grandma.

Survivors include her children, Vicki (Randy) Schmitz, Michigan, William Allison, East Moline, Chris Pauwels, Moline, Sandra (Ronald) Rennick, Moline, Michael (Gina) Allison, East Moline, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
