Phu Van Dang

Phu Van Dang, 89, of Rock Island, passed away and joined his beloved wife, Mai Nguyen on November 1, 2024.

Cremation rites have been accorded. The inurnment of Phu and Mai will take place at Westminster Memorial Park in California at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline are assisting the family with arrangements.

The Dang family feels profoundly grateful and blessed by the support of the City of Rock Island, St. John’s Lutheran Church, and Augustana College, who helped them take their first steps in America.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care Moline, Palliative Care, and Project Now Rock Island for their compassionate assistance in Phu and Mai’s final years, providing daily life activities support, hot meals, and care during illness. Thank you to Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline for helping the family during this difficult time.
