Phylis J. Wangelin, age 74, of East Moline, died Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is 4:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is in Chapel Grove Cemetery.
Phylis was born February 20, 1934 in Moline, the daughter of Bud and Esther Lucille (Self) Adams. She married Lyle E. Wangelin on July 1, 1956 in the Quad Cities. He preceded her in death in September, 1998.
Phylis was employed as a waitress and later by Stanley Home Products as a sales person.
