Ralph Roland Foss

Ralph Roland Foss, age 84, of Moline, died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline with military honors conducted by Moline American Legion Post #246. Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church in Moline.
Ralph was born July 7, 1926 in Chicago, the son of Howard C.O. and Ruth Margaret (Enger) Foss, Sr. He married Ruth M. Carlson on July 9, 1950 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Orion.
Ralph was employed as a supervisor for both Western Structural Company and John Deere & Company. He retired in 1982 from John Deere. He was a navy veteran of World War II. Ralph was a life long member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Moline. He was President of the Moline Boy's Choir in the 1970's and also was a member of Thor Lodge of the Moline Vikings.
