Ralph H. Raaen, 85, of Moline died June 21, 2007 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m. with a masonic service held at 4 p.m.at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park with military honors conducted by American Legion Post #227, East Moline.
Ralph was born January 3, 1922 in Lisbon, ND to Axel and Mary (Nelson) Raaen. He married Rosa Heatherly on March 6, 1954 in Rock Island.
Ralph was an U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Moline. He was a member of the Svithiod Club, Thor Lodge #9 Independent Order of Vikings, Moline and Moline Lodge No. 1014 AF & AM. He also enjoyed playing golf.
Ralph was employed at John Deere Harvester as a welder.
