Reba G. Casperson, 86, of Zephyrhills, Florida, formerly of Moline, passed
away Tuesday, November 22, 2005.
Services will be held at 1o'clock p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2005 at Esterdahl
Mortuary, Moline with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Rose Lawn
Memorial Garden, Moline. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
Reba was born May 4, 1919 in Stillwell, Oklahoma to Luther and Florence
(Fields) Smith. She married Herbert Casperson May 10, 1941 in Missouri.
She was employed as a bookkeeper, working many years at the Plaza Bowl,
Bettendorf, and Rock Island Millwork, Rock Island.
She enjoyed golfing and was an accomplished bowler. In 1987 she was the
Illinois State All Events Champion and won a trip to Orange County, CA to compete
in the Nationals. In 1991 she was inducted into the Moline-Rock Island
Women's Bowling Hall of Fame.
She is survived by her beloved cat "Nucy", many special friends and cousins
throughout the country, her Aunt Mae Worthman, Kansas City, KS and Goddaughter
Mikki (Jim) Judge, Buffalo, IA and her family in Illinois. She was preceded
in death by her husband.
