Reiko Perez, 74 of Moline died peacefully February 22, 2006 at her home.
Funeral services will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline, VNHA, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Beacon of Hope Hospice or to a favorite charity.
Reiko was born June 29, 1931 to Hanzo and Kaouru Ida in Darien, Manchuria. She married Jesse Perez on February 27, 1956 in Fukuoka, Japan.
In her youth she enjoyed playing the guitar and a good hand of cards. She also loved playing video games with her two grandsons.
In addition to these things, she enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting and cooking for her family. She adored her two grandsons.
