Richard F. Anderson, 67, of East Moline, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38 Ave., Moline. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Monday with a Masonic Service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Richard was born June 27, 1942 in Moline, the son of Richard C. and Mildred K. Storm Anderson. He married Marilyn S. Klavon on June 27, 1965 in Edford Township.
Richard started his employment with Lenox as a photo finisher then moved on to become a dispatcher with Per Mar retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Moline Masonic Lodge 1014 A. F. & A.M. and East Moline Masonic Lodge 969 A. F. & A. M, Valley of Moline Scottish Rite, KAABA Shrine, Moline Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 258 worthy patron, Rainbow Board and was a Butterworth Dad's Club Coach. He was involved in the Boy Scouts where he was a Silver Arrow Award recipient.
Richard enjoyed building computers and listening to 40's and 50's music.
