Richard C. Ball, 72, of East Moline, IL died Wednesday, February 08, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport, IA.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. There will be a visitation immediately preceding the service beginning at 10 a.m. Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.
He was born on July 23, 1939 in Quincy, IL the son of Lewis and Alberta (Crawford) Ball. He married Jewell M. Parks in Peoria on March 11, 1976. He worked at John Deere Harvester as a Laborer for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He was an Army Veteran, a member of Elks and also Masons. Richard very much loved spending his time with the grandchildren, going shopping, doing yard work, and drinking orange pop.
