Richard L. Bolt, age 73, of Swedona, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at his residence.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Green Rock Free Will Baptist Church, 918 2nd Street, Colona, IL. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. Orion is assisting the family.
Richard was born on November 13, 1939, in Whiteside County, IL, the son of Henry and Augusta (Brandt) Bolt. He married Olivia Fern Thornburg on August 27, 1958, in Lyndon, IL. Richard began his career as an assembler with Bear Manufacturing, last working as an inspector. He retired in 2000 after 16 years with ARC as a truck driver. He enjoyed being with his family, friends, and bowling.
