Richard E. Campbell, 83 of Moline died July 17, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center - Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.
There will be a graveside service Friday, July 21, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Rock Island Memorial Park with military honors conducted by American Legion Post #246, Moline. Friends and family will gather after the service at Sam's Highland Park Bowl, Inc (4204 Avenue of the Cities, Moline) for a time of remembering.
Richard was born May 20, 1923 in Moline to Earl S. and Lola Truzell Campbell. He married Audrey D. Kerr on June 22, 1946 at South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island.
Richard was owner and operator of Campbell's Plastering in Moline. He retired in 1985.
Richard was a WWII Army veteran. From 1963-1964 he was a former Little League All Star Baseball coach. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, watching NASCAR and doing yard work.

He was preceded in death by his son Jerry, a daughter Janet "Chris" Jones, sister Pat Jefferson, and a brother Colin Campbell.
