Richard Casillas, 55, of Lake Villa, IL died February 18, 2008 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville, IL Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 12:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials for Richard may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family. Richard was born on March 28, 1952 in Moline the son of Luis and Connie Casillas Lopez. He was an award winning account executive with Nextel and the only executive at Nextel to make the President's Council for four years in a row. He played drums with Harmonica Slim and the Works. He loved sports, music, motorcycles, and most of all his family and friends. Survivors include his son Jason and Stacy Lorance, of Colona, his grandchildren Jamie and Ava Lorance, and Jake and Hailey Lenth as well as his long term companion, Shawn DeLater. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2007.
