Richard "Rick" G. Hammerberg, 59, of Moline, died May 26, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Memorial services will be 1:30p.m. Friday, June 1, 2007 with a visitation one hour prior to service time at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or to a local animal shelter.
Rick was born July 24, 1947 in Moline to Robert E. and Veronica Cates Hammerberg. He married Judy McNeff on July 24, 1994 in Indiana.
Rick was a truck driver, who drove cross country semis for over 30 years.
Rick graduated from Moline High School. He was a Chicago Bears and Bulls fan, but above all he was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoyed bird watching.
