Richard Stanley Lance

Richard Stanley "Stan" Lance, 76, of Moline died September 20, 2007 at the VA Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2007 at Homewood Evangelical Church, Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the VA Hospital in Iowa City.
Stan was born April 9, 1931 in Wapello, IA to Elmer and Lena Danner Lance. He married Nola Rhoades on March 2, 1957 in Marion, IL.
Stan owned and operated his own auto shop for 30 years, retiring in August of 1998. He was a Korean War Era veteran. He loved playing cards, golfing and fishing with his family. He was a member of the Evangelical Church. He lived for his family.
