Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Memorials may be made to the East Moline United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
Richard was born on January 26, 1956, in Moline, IL, the son of Richard N. and Rose Mae Naomi (Swanson) Pettifer. He worked as a butler and caterer.
