Richard Herman Short Sr

Richard Herman Short, Sr., 73, of Colona died September 22, 2006 at his residence.
Funeral service will be 1p.m. Monday, September 25, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline.
Richard was born September 19, 1933 in Rock Island to William Herman and Annis E. Whittaker Short. He married Audrey Wigant on May 16, 1953. She preceded him in death on December 15, 2005.
Richard repaired tractors at Farmall for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, camping, traveling, and watching old westerns. He was known for being a handyman. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
