Richard D. Starr, 72, of Moline, IL, died Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, IL.
Memorial services will be held at Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd located at 6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one-hour prior to services at the funeral home. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Mississippi Bend Model Boaters.
Richard was born on June 2, 1944 in Moline, IL, the son of Tinsel and Esther Starr. He married Karen S. Findley on June 29, 1963. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2010 in Rock Island, IL.
Richard was a Navy Vet. He also enjoyed the Mississippi Bend Model Boaters.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and 2 sisters.
