Richard C. Swift, 63, of Coal Valley, died May 22, 2007 at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be 12 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Coal Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Richard was born November 12, 1943 in Davenport, IA to Melvin and Dorothy Cornwall Swift. He attended First Baptist Church, Geneseo. He was employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he loved animals.
