Richard Charles Wright, age 51, of East Moline, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Rev. Maury Gibson will be officiating the service. Visitation is from 11:00-1:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Military honors will be provided by East Moline American Legion Post #227. Memorials may be made for his daughter Brianna Wright.
Richard was born August 31, 1959 in Moline, the son of LaVernon P. and Katherine Emma Moritz Wright, Sr.
He married Janice in Moline.
Richard was a retired expert tree trimmer. He was a Navy veteran. Richard was also a NASCAR fan, and was especially a fan of Dale Earnhardt Jr. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was loved by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and special brother-in-law Larry.
