Robert Eugene Barrigar

Robert Eugene Barrigar, 79, of East Moline, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021, at his home.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Per his wishes no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline is assisting the family.

Robert was born on August 3, 1942, in Quincy, IL, the child of Eugene and Naomi (Moore) Barrigar. He married Rosemary Martin in Rock Island. Robert worked at the Chinese Kitchen in Rock Island.  He was known as a home body that enjoyed watching cowboy shows and western movies. Robert loved his family more than anything else and was a wonderful uncle.

Survivors include his nieces, Naomi Ponce, Lola Dunn, Geraldine (Jose) Dunn; nephews, Ronald DeClerck, and Jose Dunn; and many other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; brothers, Charles, and Lester Lloyd “Butchy”; sisters, Rosemary Flynn, Norma Barrigar, and Nina Stanley.
