Robert Ericson

Robert Lester Ericson, 82, of Moline, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at UnityPoint Health Methodist Proctor in Peoria.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38 Avenue, Moline.  A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Moline.  Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Robert was born on April 23, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Lester Carl William and Leona Virginia Schaefer Ericson.

Upon graduation from High School, Robert began working at John Deere and retired after 40 years in 1996. Robert was a member of Ducks Unlimited and helped with the yearly banquet.  He loved boating and traveling.  Robert was truly the eternal optimist and most importantly was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
