Robert George Ingvall, 76, of Moline, died July 6, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory 6601-38th Ave. Moline, IL 61265. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Military honors will be conducted by the Moline American Legion Post #246. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Robert was born November 14, 1931 in Moline to George and Elsie (Musal) Ingvall. He married Nettie E. Williams on November 19, 1960 at First Landmark Baptist Church, Rock Island.
Robert was supervisor of shipping for Regalia in Rock Island for 42 years. He retired on May 23, 1997. Robert was an U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Robert had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. He was a 50 year member of Thor Lodge #9 Independent Order of Viking. He loved playing cards, working in the yard, and Chicago Cubs. He dearly loved his family, friends and neighbors.
