Robert E. Kehoe

Robert Edward Kehoe, Sr., 87, of East Moline, died October 20, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island after a long illness.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 4-7 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave. Moline. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
Robert was born July 24, 1921 in Springfield, MO to Lester H. and Gertrude (Williams) Kehoe. He married Vivian Irene Kuehl on June 1, 1941 in Rock Island. He served in the U.S. Army in the Philippines in 1945.
Robert worked in the telephone industry for 43 years beginning as a telephone equipment installer for 10 years with Western Electric and 33 years in supervisory assignments with Illinois Bell Telephone.
