Robert "Bob" J. Kissel, age 82 of Hillsdale, died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Military Rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
Bob was born October 10, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Chester & Laura Bell McGown Kissel. He married Adeline B. Stronach in 1956 in Moline. She preceded him in death on November 13, 2002.
Bob was a WWII Army Veteran, and he was employed by the John Deere Foundry for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as gardening and woodworking.
