Robert R. ""Bob"" Lindquist

Robert "Bob" R. Lindquist, age 85, of Andover, IL, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Augustana Lutheran Church, Andover, IL. Visitation is from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Church. Inurnment will be at Andover Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. Orion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Bob was born January 31, 1928 in Andover, IL, the son of Russell and Gladys (Holstrom) Lindquist. He married Doris Lieving on January 23, 1949.
Bob spent his life as a farmer, and later worked in agriculture sales. He was a 1945 graduate of Orion High School. Bob was a lifelong member of Augustana Lutheran Church where he was the beloved custodian for many years. He was also a befriender and hospice volunteer.
