Robert L. Miller, 82, of Hampton, IL, died at his residence June 23, 2017.
Memorial visitation will be from 4-7 on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline.
Robert was born in Williamstown, Missouri, on December 14, 1934, the son of Robert Lee and Beatrice Hinton Miller. He married Marilyn Pierce on February 16, 1953 they later divorced, he then married Betty Minder on April 4, 1986 in Davenport.
Robert worked as a general supervisor at John Deere Davenport Works for 35 years retiring in 1986. He enjoyed golf and attending the QC Open in his free time, gardening and loved playing the 99 card game.
Survivors include his wife, children Marty (Peggy) Miller, Geneseo, IL, Kathleen (Larry) Mistic, Orion, IL, Douglas Miller, Moline, IL, Kristine (Jay) Kruger, Port Byron, IL; step children David (Kathy) Finley, Barbara (Michael) Lund, and Rick Finley; numerous grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, step great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sister, Lois Dean (Don) Brown.
Robert was preceded in death by his son Kevin, and his parents.
