Robert Ernest Picard, 81, died October 16, 2007 at Methodist Hospital, Peoria, IL.
Robert was born in Lynn, MA, he was the son of the late Ernest and Grace Picard. He graduated from VanRensselaer High School in Rensselaer, NY and Trinidad Jr. College, Trinidad, CO.
His Army service was at Oliver General Hospital, Augusta, GA. A gunsmith and tool designer he was employed at Springfield Arsenal, Springfield, MA; Picatinny Arsenal, Picatinny, NJ; and Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL.
He is survived by

Nephew Marc Picard Soquel, CA
Interment will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007 with military honors conducted by Moline American Legion Post #246. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
