Robert J. Sandler, age 77, of Moline, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at his home.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bob was born May 24, 1933 in Moline, the son of Russell and Alice (Van Acker) Sandler. He married Elizabeth "Liz" Linn in November, 1962 in Rock Island.
Bob was employed as a factory worker for McGinnis Industries for over 10 years, retiring in 1990. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Bob enjoyed sports, especially the Cubs and the Bears. He loved spending time with his family. Bob's family will miss his grumpiness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Debra Carroll.
