Robert "Bob" Glen Walker, 68, of Moline died Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will take place following the funeral. Burial of cremains will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Bob's name for the family discretions.
Bob was born July 29, 1943, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Robert G. Walker, Sr. and Mary Jane (Hammond) Schaar. He married Joyce Bishop on July 27, 1962, in Rock Island.
Bob graduated from Rock Island High School, Class of 1961. He served in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Senior Chief E-8. Bob was known as a gadget person who loved working on electronics and computers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Eric L. Walker in 2004.
