Robert Allen Rumburg

Robert “Bob” Allen Rumburg, 82, of Seaton, passed away, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at his home.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorial services will be held at 3:00p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Memorial visitation will be from 1-3p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.

Bob was born on December 31, 1938, in Moline, the son of Julius and Barbara (Gullett) Rumburg.  He married Patricia “Pat” Chambers on May 14, 1983, in Rock Island.  Bob was a United States Veteran serving in the United States Marines.  He enjoyed woodworking, and fishing for Bass and Crappie.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; sons, Jim Rumburg of Moline, John Rumburg of Milan and Jeff (Dawn) Rumburg of Seaton, IL; grandchildren: April, Hannah and Raina Rumburg; Michele Rumburg and Molly (Jake) McKee; Dustin (Tashauna) Rumburg, Bobby (Nikki) Rumburg, and Jeffry (Lauren) Rumburg;

great grandchildren: Kaige and Keagan Goodman; Annabelle and Wesley Rumburg; Malayah Rumburg and Tyson Warden Jr; 1 great great granddaughter, Aniyah Goodman and another great great grandson on the way

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara DeVoss, his granddaughter, Jennifer; his brother, Otto Rumburg and his parents.
