Robin Lee Carden

Robin Lee Carden, 55, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2020, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. prior to the services.  Cremation will take place following services and inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Robin was born on May 15, 1964, the daughter of Eugene and Sallie (Johnson) Mewes.  She married Jerry Carden in 1984, in Davenport.  Robin previously worked in health care and did various jobs at the East Moline Speedway.  She was an avid race fan and also enjoyed doing crafts and vinyl graphics.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Landon.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; daughter, Courtney (Brad) Reistroffer; grandson, Landon Carden; father, Eugene Mewes; stepmother, Debbie Stansberry; brother, Don (Patty) Mewes; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and infant son, Nicholas.
