Roger A. Kirschenmann age 53 of Moline, died Saturday, May 14, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center - Illini Campus. Silvis.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline with the Pastor Jerry Helms officiating. Burial is at Moline Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to an educational fund for his son Tyler.
Roger was born August 14, 1951 in Aberdeen, SD, the son of Reinhold and Ione Pautsch Kirschenmann. He married Tara Whittington on September 6, 1986 in Davenport.
Roger was employed as a delivery man for Von Maur for 15 years and later worked as a courier for DHL Worldwide Express for 15 years. He and his wife have been the owners of Tastee Freez of Davenport for the past 11 years.
Roger enjoyed cycling, photography, NASCAR, and collecting M & M novelties. He also enjoyed model trains and listening to music. He was an avid softball player and coach, and was a New York Mets fan.
