Rolland H. Wood, age 75, of Moline, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial is at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal with military honors conducted by Moline American Legion Post # 246. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for a fund to be established by the family.
Rolland was born September 10, 1935 in Cotton Wood, MN, the son of L.G. and Hilda (Geisfeld) Wood. He married Vicki Lynn Strother on February 10, 1973 in Moline.
Rolland was the owner of Sales Midwest, casino host on the Isle of Capri and the owner/operator of R & J Trucking. He was an Air Force veteran.
