Ronald Schnowske

Ronald D. Schnowske, 72, of Sherrard, Illinois, passed away on July 19, 2019 at his residence.

A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Kirk, Huggins and Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301 4 Street, Orion.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-7 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery in Cambridge.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Ronnie was born on February 27, 1947 in Cambridge, Illinois the son of Lyle and Cleora Dorman Schnowske.  He married Iona Hergert in August of 1967 and they later divorced.

Ronnie was a heavy equipment mechanic spending most of his career with Herman M. Brown and retiring from Oetzel Construction; he was also employed with Dohrn Transfer, Altorfer Cat and Hawkeye Paving.  He enjoyed remodeling homes and farming.  But his real love was sharing his wisdom with everyone.
