Rosa Elma Raaen, age 88, of Moline, died Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park.
Rosa was born February 2, 1920 in Cave City, KY., the daughter of Samuel and Beulah (Sanders) Heatherly. She married Ralph Raaen on March 6, 1954 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2007.
Rosa was employed as a welder at International Harvester for 27 years, retiring in 1969. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Moline. Rosa was also a member of the Svithoid Club. She enjoyed gardening.
